What Is The Letter?
All the symbolic signs or symbols used to write the language are called letters.
Eg: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
There are total 26 letters in English. These 26 letters together are called Alphabet.
Letter is divided into two ways:
01. Based on size or writing and 02. Based on pronunciation.
## There are two types of letters based on size or writing:-
1. Capital (Uppercase) Ex: A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L Etc.
2. Small(Lowercase) Ex: a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l Etc.
## There are two types of letters based on pronunciation:-
1. Vowels
2. Consonant
** Vowel: The letter which can be pronounced alone without the help of any other letter is called Vowel. Vowel total 5 like: A, E, I, O, U
** Consonant: The letter that cannot be pronounced alone without the help of another letter, but has to take the help of Vowel, is called Consonant. Consonant total 21 ie B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, X, Y, Z
Note: W and Y in Consonant these two letters are used as Vowel and Consonant so they are called Semi Vowel.
